Quick answer

Puri Lips is WEDERM’s hydrating lip booster: 22 mg/mL of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid with mannitol and vitamin B12 in a 1.1 mL prefilled syringe, lidocaine-free. It hydrates dry lips, gives a natural flush from the B12 and is designed to prolong the result of any HA lip filler, used four to six weeks after a filler treatment. Store at room temperature; professional use only.

Overview

What is Puri Lips?

Puri Lips is WEDERM’s hydrating lip booster — not a volumising lip filler. Each 1.1 mL prefilled syringe contains 22 mg/mL of high- and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid (WEDERM’s HLD™ high-and-low-molecular high-density technology) with mannitol, which the manufacturer includes to slow HA degradation, and vitamin B12, which gives the gel its scarlet tint and the lips a natural flush. It contains no lidocaine.

How it differs

How is a lip booster different from a lip filler?

A cross-linked lip filler such as Juvéderm Ultra Smile is designed to add shape and volume. Puri Lips is designed to hydrate the lip tissue and prolong the result of any HA lip filler: WEDERM recommends it four to six weeks after a filler treatment, once the filler has stabilised, and describes it as compatible with every lip filler brand, with periodic retreatment every four to six weeks.

Puri Eyes PN 2 mg/mL · 1 × 1.1 mL · under-eye (same syringe format)
Uses

What do clinics use Puri Lips for?

It is commonly selected for dry, chapped or dull-looking lips, for patients who want hydration and a fresh tint without added volume, and as a maintenance step after lip filler. WEDERM suggests a 30–32G needle; injection depth and volume per point are not specified by the manufacturer and are decided by the treating clinician. RF or laser devices and non-invasive recovery devices are listed as adjuncts.

Commonly selected for

  • Chronically dry or chapped lips
  • Post-filler hydration and result maintenance
  • Patients wanting a natural flush rather than volume
  • Value add-on to lip filler appointments

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Puri Lips add volume?

No. It is a non-cross-linked hydrating booster, not a filler. It improves hydration and gives a natural flush; volume comes from a cross-linked lip filler.

Why does it contain vitamin B12?

Cyanocobalamin gives the gel its scarlet colour and, per the manufacturer, a natural red flush to the lips.

When should it be used after lip filler?

WEDERM recommends four to six weeks after a filler treatment, once the filler has stabilised, with periodic retreatment every four to six weeks. It is described as compatible with every HA lip filler brand.

What needle is suggested?

A 30–32G needle. Injection depth and volume per point are not specified by the manufacturer and are decided by the treating clinician.

How should Puri Lips be stored?

At room temperature between 1 and 30 °C, protected from sunlight, and never frozen. One 1.1 mL syringe per box.
